Situation
*** NOTE

Solely due to the massively increased exhorbitant track
hireage charges that the new venue operators are currently trying to extort out
of us, and many other previous circuit users...
We will not currently be utilising this now substantially over priced venue at
all... and may well not be utilising it any further into the future either.
Should
you have any training, corporate events and conferences etc that you were
considering undertaking at Taupo, then we would currently very strongly
recommend against utilising this substantially over priced venue, as it is financially
unsustainable and there are far better alternate venues at far more realistic
pricing.
If your were contemplating trying to organise a conference or team event in
Taupo, then our current advice to our clients is... Don't.
Contact us directly for us to assist in facilitating your requirements at either
the Manfeild - Circuit Chris Amon facility in Feilding, or the Pukekohe Park facility in
Pukekohe.
The NZ Advanced Driving Centre Taupo
was previously based at the
Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park which is situated on the corner of Centennial Drive and
Broadlands Road 8km north of Taupo.
Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park is
ideally located in one of New Zealand's conference
centres...
so feel free to discuss the options of incorporating our NZ Advanced Driver
Training services
and/or our 400kw Holden NZV8 Hot Lap rides into your next company
conference. (Refer Above)
Facilities
NZ Advanced Driver Training previously utilised the
the Tuahara Suite in the Pit Lane Complex as its driver training base.
It is approximately 4km to the nearest food
outlet.
On-site catering is available by
arrangement for corporate or special events subject to attendance numbers.
Accommodation
Being a popular tourist and conference centre,
there is an extensive selection of hotels and motels.
Whenever the NZ Advanced Driver Training team are in Taupo, they continue
to prefer to
stay at the Lake Taupo Motor Inn.
Nearest Major Airport
Taupo Airport.
Rental Vehicle
Location
AVIS Car Rentals are available by prior
arrangement from the Taupo airport.
Frequency of Courses
The
Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park is only utilised as required subject
to minimum attendee numbers.
We generally arrange and conduct courses at Taupo on an as and when required basis.
